OnyxIQ — YouTube Growth Studio (Chrome extension) · Last updated: 21 October 2026
The short version: OnyxIQ runs entirely inside your own browser. There is no OnyxIQ server. Your YouTube data is fetched directly from Google's official APIs to your browser, processed locally, and never sent to us or to any third party. We cannot see your channel data — by design, not just by promise.
When you choose to sign in with YouTube, OnyxIQ requests read-only access through Google's official OAuth consent screen:
One additional scope, youtube.force-ssl, is requested only at the exact moment you yourself initiate a bulk metadata edit inside the Bulk Suite, and only after you approve that prompt. It is never requested during sign-in and is never used for anything else.
If you instead use your own YouTube Data API key, or use Demo mode, no sign-in data is accessed at all.
OnyxIQ uses YouTube API Services. By using OnyxIQ you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. OnyxIQ's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google's own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
OnyxIQ is a professional tool for YouTube creators and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the extension's changelog.
